Carolyn at Forever Scarlet and I headed out on Saturday to a big vintage sale taking place at the cool hang-out Love and Death Inc in Belfast City Centre. Lola’s Vintage Kilo Sale is the first of its kind in Belfast. With racks of vintage clothing to mull through, once you pick what you fancy, they weigh it by the kilo (at £20 per kilo). With vintage stores often selling pieces at big prices over the last few years, this sale was a welcome addition to the vintage scene in Belfast.
I picked up five skirts for £20. Not bad, however, two of them need the lining fixed and turned up properly (they were just roughly cut at the bottom!). It was hard to see the condition of the clothing as the room the sale was held in was so dark! I know we probably would have hung about for longer and perhaps picked up more items had there been decent lighting. But if you are a big vintage fan and want to stock up, then definitely check out when the next sale will be held.
