LA is big, hot, noisy and full of cool kids. I’m hoping I fit right in ha! As with most city breaks we’re trying to squeeze a lot in but we know we’ll never get doing everything we want to. With two full days to go, we’re heading to famous Beverly Hills today and to check out Walk of Fame. Whilst I’d love to be dressed to kill with heels on and sporting my new Kate Spade bag, I’m wearing my bright pink trainers, shorts and my hair up in a practical bun. I’ve promised my mum if I bump into Richard Gere I’ll try and get a photo with him.
So far on our trip we’ve spotted Mike Tyson in Santa Monica and Phill thinks he saw the blonde actress Mircea Monroe from the television series Episodes at The Grove shopping centre haha. Oh and we can’t forget that world-renown street artist Shepard Fairey just finished painting a PEACE mural at the hotel we’re staying at. I keep telling Phill to say hello to him as he is such a big fan of his work but Phill would be too mortified.
Our hotel in Koreatown is one-of-a-kind. Staying here is an experience in itself and we’re pretty sure if we lingered in the cafe or bar area long enough we’d see some famous faces. I plan to do a dedicated blog post about the hotel as there is so much to say and show you.
But for now Beverly Hill beckons! I can’t believe I just wrote that…
