Back in May I reviewed my first Koo-di product as their 2017 brand ambassador. It was a pop-up travel cot which I thought was brilliant and I’m looking forward to bringimg it on holiday with me soon. This month Koo-di sent me their Duo Convertible Wooden High Chair and before it even arrived I knew I would love it. When I saw pictures of it online I thought it looked super stylish and would fit right in with my home decor.
Thankfully the real thing lived up to my expectations. It has a nice neat moulded grey seat and elegant tapered beech legs. Phill and I are big fans of the mid-century modern look and this fits right in with our aesthetic. I think it would be the type of high chair to appeal to minimalists and design enthusiasts as it’s so stylish and streamlined.
And this isn’t just a high chair, it also doubles as a mini chair! Once Rose is bigger we can unscrew the bottom legs and have it just as a little toddler chair for her in the living room. The other good news is the highchair is super simple to put together. It was simply a matter of screwing the legs on! My kinda DIY 😉
This new high chair is smaller in width and height than our previous Chicco high chair and, personally, I love that. It takes up way less room and just looks really good against our dining room table and chairs. Thankfully Rose had no complaints with switching high chairs and she seems very comfortable and happy in it. It’s easy to put her in the chair and take her out. The light grey seat is PU leather and well-padded. The tray comes off easily and the little tray insert clicks out for easy cleaning. The only down-side for me is the white straps which don’t stay white for long! Be prepared to clean them alot.
With a retail price of £99.00 I think it’s a really good price for the quality of high chair you get. It’s without a doubt one of the most beautiful and stylish high chairs I’ve come across.
